Work Flexibility: Field-based

The Field Service Engineer is primarily responsible to maintain professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service business on Stryker’s products while ensuring compliance with the quality system and manufacturer specifications. He/she delivers technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers.

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for all of Sweden.

Predominant work regions: Skåne, Småland, Halland, Västergötland, Södermanland.

Overnight trips will be required several times per month.

What you will do:

Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker products

Complete annual check and calibration according to MDR on customer site

Utilize software and technological tools to maintain proper records, access technical information

Assist the regulatory affairs department / customer to action product recalls, field safety notices and field action notices

Fulfil Service contracts with planned maintenances

Support Installation of Stryker systems on customer site

Perform Software & Hardware Upgrades

Efficient and thorough documentation of service activities for internal and external reference

Ensure traceability of all field-based Stryker products through reporting tools

Provide technical support to Internal and external customers

Escalade opportunities and issues appropriate team meetings

Ensure excellent follow-up on all customer-initiated issues

Ensure service provided is invoiced if not under warranty

Must have the ability to prioritize work and manage stress

Must be capable of working in a varied range of scenarios including the workshop, hospitals, and pre-hospital

Must possess unwavering ethics & integrity in a competitive and demanding work environment

Must have a service- and quality-oriented mindset

Ability to think independently, use sound judgment, prioritize, make quick decisions and problem-solve

Ability to communicate effectively and work both independently and as part of a team on assignments

What you need:

Required:

Educational background in at least one of the following disciplines: Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication

Fluency in both spoken and written (technical and medical) in Swedish

Good level of English to be able to understand trainings and manuals, in writing and speaking

Adequate IT-knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, PS3, Outlook)

Full Driver’s license

Ability to build relationship with internal & external customers to drive brand loyalty

Preferred:

Previous experience in related field desired, ideally in hospital / pre-hospital / medical environment

Previous experience in related equipment desired, ideally experience with patient diagnostics and therapy equipment
