Festival Aide

The City of O'Fallon is looking for energetic and dependable team members for the position of Festival Aide.

Our Festival Aides enjoy a flexible schedule along with a fun work environment and earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of pay of $14.15 - $15.05 hourly.

rnAs part of our Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in the preparation, organization and management of festivals and special events hosted by the Tourism and Festivals Department.rnAs a Festival Aide, your duties and responsibilities will include:rnrnAssisting in the preparation and set up of festival and event grounds for Heritage Freedom FestivalrnResearching and preparing for festivals and events, including our Heritage Freedom FestivalrnAssisting vendors during the Heritage Freedom FestivalrnAssuring displays are in working properly, taking corrective action when necessaryrnProviding information and top notice customer service to patronsrnrnWe're looking for someone who is reliable and willing to contribute ideas that support our festivals and special events team.

This person should be comfortable working with electricity and hand/power tools.

This position works outdoors on rough, uneven terrain in all weather conditions.

Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
