Pride Health is actively seeking an experienced Paramedic for a non-driving 12-hour night shift travel opportunity in Lynchburg, VA.

Job Summary:

This role plays a critical part in delivering quality emergency care in a hospital-based environment. The ideal candidate has prior travel experience, current Virginia certification (or approved reciprocity), and strong clinical judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality emergency care and interventions in accordance with current protocols and hospital policies.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in urgent and critical care situations.

Monitor and document patient vital signs, conditions, and treatment responses.

Ensure proper communication and documentation via hospital systems.

Maintain a clean, safe, and stocked work environment.

Participate in orientation, mandatory training, and staff meetings as required.

Requirements:

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of recent paramedic experience (within the last 2 years)

Licensure/Certifications:

Virginia Paramedic Certification – OR – approved reciprocity + proof of FBI fingerprint check

National Certification (required if applying from out of state)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)

FEMA Certifications: ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700

Hazmat Awareness Certification (preferred, not required)

Additional Information: Location: Lynchburg, VA 24501 Schedule: 12-hour Nights 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM (rotating 6-week schedule) Contract Length: 13 weeks
