Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Setup and operate machinery to cut and thread metal for the production of large anchor bolts and fasteners for the construction industry. Measure and cut stock metal to length using saws and shears. Operate threading machinery to thread bolts. Inspect parts for quality. Follow work instructions. This position is on swing shift with regular scheduled hours from 2:30pm-11pm, Monday-Friday. Will train on days for 2-4 weeks with a 6am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri schedule.
Responsibilities

Experience working in production, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution.
Experience in machine operation and production.
Ability to read blueprints.
Proficient with hand tools.
General labor and inspection skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Very clean for a machine shop. The building is enclosed but uninsulated, which can result in cooler temperatures in winter and warmer temperatures in summer. The shop is friendly and laid back.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PORTLAND, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $24.50/hr.
