Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a Mining Manufacturing company with over 40 locations across the United States. At our Clearfield plant, we manufacture rock bolts and anchors used in mines for safety. The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical machines, equipment, and power systems in accordance with state and local building codes and the National Electrical Code. This position includes inside and outside routine maintenance, extensive preventative maintenance, and repair work for machine breakdowns.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and extensive preventative maintenance for building, grounds, machines, and equipment.
Install and maintain electrical machines, equipment, and power systems adhering to state and local building codes and the National Electrical Code.
Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.
Set up and adjust machinery for production runs.
Perform minor and major emergency repairs as required.
Calibrate and repair pneumatic systems.
Inspect belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, and other components, providing corrective actions as needed.
Follow standard operating and safety procedures.
Operate general maintenance equipment including cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and cutting equipment, and hand/power tools.
Perform computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to post-maintenance and repair procedures.Essential Skills
PLC troubleshooting
Dependability to consistently be at work and on time with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including 40+ hours as required.
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directives.
Knowledge of general and maintenance-specific safety procedures and guidelines.
Functional mathematical ability, including knowledge of fractions and decimals for basic math calculations and measurement computing using tape measures and/or micrometers.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to develop good fabricating and troubleshooting skills, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Working knowledge of operational functions for general maintenance equipment.
Basic computer skills.
Strong team mentality with a QA/safety-oriented mindset.
Self-motivational skills to perform duties without direct supervision and the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure.
Functional communication skills to interact with management, co-workers, and outside vendors.
Close visual acuity, near/far vision, and multiple limb coordination.
Manual dexterity and the ability to lift moderate/heavy weights (20-80 lbs.) while performing essential job duties.
Capability for repetitive standing, walking, and/or bending during normal phase duties.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.

Work Environment
This position operates on the 1st shift (hours to be determined). You will work both inside and outside, performing maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and guidelines while working with various maintenance equipment such as cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and cutting equipment, and hand/power tools. Dress code and attire are aligned with safety standards, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65104.00 - $71760.00/yr.
