BID COORDINATOR
JOB TITLE: Bid Coordinator

SUMMARY: Transylvania Flooring Professionals is a leading commercial flooring installation company specializing in polished concrete, epoxy installation, tile, and ceramic installations. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Bid Coordinator to join our team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to prepare and submit bids for commercial flooring projects.
Conduct thorough analysis of bid requirements, project specifications, and blueprints to develop accurate and competitive proposals.
Coordinate and communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather pricing and necessary documentation.
Review and evaluate bid documents, contracts, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain bid logs, track project timelines, and update internal databases with relevant bid information.
Assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings and participate in bid clarification meetings as required.
Manage multiple bid submissions concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure all bid-related documents and requirements are fulfilled.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Previous experience as a Bid Coordinator, Estimator, or in a similar role within the construction or commercial flooring industry is preferred.
Strong understanding of bidding processes, project specifications, and blueprints.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in bid preparation and documentation.
Proficiency in using bidding software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Knowledge of polished concrete, epoxy installation, tile, and carpet installations is a plus.
