Job Description
We are a General Contractor seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will work with project teams focusing on project documentation, filing, subcontractor follow-up, etc.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task. Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and good computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with Project Manager, Project Superintendent, Subcontractors, and others involved with assigned projects
Helps the construction team prepare contract packages and submittals and procure project related items
Distributes and organizes documents related to construction projects
Distributes project related information to subcontractors.
Collects and assembles all required project close out
Handles project specific incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and mailings
Enters and prepares subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders in the accounting and project management software systems
Maintains updates of project correspondence, meeting minutes, and drawing logs in project management systems
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be highly organized and capable of multi-tasking;
Must be a team player with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a willingness to work independently and produce results in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to coordinate and communicate well and in a professional, positive manner with subcontractors
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
Must have a talent for following up with subcontractors, in a timely manner
Must have a willingness to seek out solutions independently through communication with multiple parties and achieve positive results
Experience with Procore and Sage a plus
Familiarity with the construction industry a plus
