STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY

1ST SHIFT

$20.00-$23.00 TO START!

You will be fabricating and/or rebuilding structural frames and molds by welding metal components together using arc and gas welding equipment, cutting out forms for total build out of structure.

DESCRIPTION:

• Weld metal parts together using gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes to build and rebuild frames and/or molds.

• You will also cut metal with a torch and grinding surfaces.

• Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes, and/or increase or decrease the sizes of metal parts.

• Measure, position and clamp together structural steel or fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.

• Read blueprints and/or required company production orders and to determine what the job specifications as well as those requirements needed to complete the production orders..

• Perform cleanup and required housekeeping duties; sweep floor; shovel excess debris, while using the required PPE, as well as having the ability to be trained in the use of LOTO during maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience Assembling or Fabricating structural frames and/or molds.

- Ability to use cutting tools and a welder.

- Proficient in reading work instructions, prints and performing shop math.

- Ability to read a tape measure.

- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours including on your hands and knees.

- Ability to work in awkward positions.

- Positive attitude toward employees, supervisors and customers.

- Willingness to work with Maintenance Personnel to install, repair and maintain shop equipment.
