Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist provides high-quality patient care, supports rehabilitation efforts, and mentors PTAs to improve community health outcomes. This role involves direct care, treatment planning, and coordination with healthcare teams while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations, assessments, and care planning for diverse clinical diagnoses.

Provide direct physical therapy treatment to enhance patient recovery and mobility.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care plans.

Maintain documentation in compliance with clinic, CMS, and regulatory guidelines.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.

Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Ensure adherence to APTA standards, state PT practice acts, and clinic policies.

Support the clinic's Quality Assurance Plan for continuous improvement.

Maintain professional licensure and engage with healthcare networks.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program.

Minimum five (5) years of rehabilitation experience.

Current California state licensure in physical therapy.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods.

Capability to climb stairs, kneel, crouch, reach, and balance.

Strength to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual therapy tasks.

Dexterity for computer and phone operation.

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and drive a motor vehicle safely.
