Main Duties:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair air conditioning systems in buses

Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on HVAC systems

Recharge AC systems with refrigerants and ensure proper pressure levels

Ensure that bus diagnostics and repairs meet safety, standards and regulations

Train and assist Semi-Skilled workers as required

Collaborate closely with other Mechanics, Panel Beaters, and staff members

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workspace and ensuring proper management of hazardous waste

Adhere to established policies and procedures - security, H&S, data protection, eco-friendly practices, and quality assurance

Complete job cards, work orders, or any other job-related documentation

Any other duties related to the job position that may be required

What Skills do you need?

Ordinary Level of education

City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in electrical field, or 3 years of previous experience

3 years working experience in Air conditional maintenance of buses or trucks

Advanced knowledge of preventive maintenance

Specialized Technical knowledge on industrial vehicles

Good communication skills, in either English, Maltese, or Spanish

Proficient experience with diagnostic tools and equipment for electrical tasks

Strong Problem Analysis, Compliance and complex diagnostic skills

Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
