Summary
Directly responsible for maintaining outstanding food quality to positively impact guest satisfaction. This includes food purchasing and preparation, adherence to Q39 recipes, procedures and cleanliness. Provide staff leadership to create a positive, productive team environment through orientation, regular coaching, and training initiatives for all BOH departments.
Accountabilities:
Ensure consistent execution of Q39 recipes, portioning, and plating standards.
Maintain inventory accuracy by following ordering, receiving, and storage protocols.
Drive food cost control through waste reduction, portion management, and recipe adherence.
Collaborate with the Corporate Chef to develop, cost, and standardize new menu items.
Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cleanliness at all times.
Manage kitchen maintenance, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
Hire, train, and develop BOH team members to uphold Q39 values and operational excellence.
Schedule and manage labor to align with business needs and budget targets.
Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with health and labor regulations, and enforce all company policies consistently.
Complete all administrative tasks timely and accurately, including scheduling, timecard reviews, hiring documentation, and performance evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications
Experienced in all stations and multiple cooking styles
Must have experience working with different cuts of meat and fish.
Must be able to trim and portion cuts of meat.
3-5 years of full-service kitchen management experience
5+ years of restaurant cooking experience
Read, write, and speak English fluently, Spanish is a plus.
Display basic knowledge of the operation of computers and tablets.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, managers, and vendors via in-person, email, and phone
