Main Duties:
Oversee the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management
Design and update menus based on seasonal availability, customer preferences, and food trends
Supervise and coordinate the work of kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and high-quality food presentation
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen team members to maintain a high standard of performance
Monitor food costs, portion control, and waste to maintain profitability
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen environment
Collaborate with suppliers and manage inventory, ordering ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed
Create and enforce standard operating procedures for kitchen tasks and food preparation
Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to keep the menu innovative and competitive
Handle kitchen scheduling, staffing levels, and conflict resolution when necessary
Work closely with restaurant management to align food service with overall business goals
What skills do you need?
Proven experience in similar positions
Strong leadership skills
Fluency in English are essential
Eligibility to work in the EU is a must
