The Role
With a focus on our Core Values of Integrity, Internally Driven, Fun and Respect, the Business Development Manager achieves sales budget in a defined sales territory by focusing on strategies for account retention and penetration. Strives for continuous growth in the market through partnerships with clients and providers within the industry using short and long term business planning skills, focused on workforce strategies and solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values, and vision of the company
Exceeds the goals set forth in the BDM matrix
Generate sales opportunities
Meets with the recruiting team weekly to review recruiting efforts and identify areas of improvement, including number of submittals and calls
Developing and maintaining customer relationships
Generate sales opportunities
Collaborate with the Director to effectively achieve business goals
Understand client needs by researching and gathering information needed to determine skill level of caregivers
Understand usage and trends of client
Responsible for negotiating contracts and terms with client including credit terms and position specifics
Performs other duties as assigned
What We Look For
High school education/GED
2+ years of Healthcare Staffing Sales Experience Preferred
2+ years of Healthcare Sales Experience Required
Great Things to Have
Crisis Staffing, Labor Dispute, Strike, and Contract Negotiations experience Preferred
Must understand soft sell and assertiveness needed to set up in person
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate to any level within an organization
Negotiation skills
Proficient personal computer skills and knowledge of software applications
Previous administrative, management, and sales experience preferred
Ability to travel for client visits in state and out of state and schedule visits for prospect meetings
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Compensation/Benefits Information
The estimated base pay for this position is $60,000/Annually
Base pay will vary based on internal equity, candidates' skills and professional experience, geographic location, market and other potential factors.
