SMS Staffing Inc is Hiring Immediately for skilled Medical Device Assemblers!

Job Title: Operator I (Medical Device Assembler)

Job Location: Plymouth, MN

Job Type: Contract (possible extension or convert to hire)

Pay: $18.75 - $19.25/Hr. (depending on shift)

Shift Structure: 1st Shift, 4:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week

2nd Shift, 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday to Thursday, 40 hours per week

The role of the Medical Device Assembler:

Produces high-quality medical devices and related accessories using applicable tools

Reviews all documentation for completeness and accuracy

Maintain the organization, inventory levels, and the cleanliness of the device packaging area

Performs a combination of assembly, repair, and test operations on pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, and/or digital/analog circuitry

Follows safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all operations

Utilizes the microscope to complete assembly inspections

About the Medical Device Assembler:

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures; understand and follow verbal instructions.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts as well as demonstrate manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination

High school degree or equivalent

Previous experience working in medical assembly, cleanroom, assembly line, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
