We are seeking a full-time Phone Agent/Prescription Assistance Specialist at our John Street location.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm OR Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.

ECHO Community Healthcare is a Federally Qualified Healthcare Center that provides quality healthcare to all members of our community, including the insured, uninsured, under-insured and homeless.

We serve a population of approximately 15,000 and provide various clinical and community outreach services at six full time clinics.

Job Summary

Answer inbound calls and manage patient appointments. Complete telephone encounters and send to appropriate discipline. Manage fax inbox and scanning for the clinic. Responsible for the collection of patient records from new patients prior to scheduled appointments. Assists patients with the proper forms and authorization to obtain their prescriptions through a pharmaceutical company at reduced or no cost. Duties include client registration, income verification, basic data entry, form completion, and office communication with other professionals.

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

High school diploma or equivalent.

Basic computer and typing skills and knowledge of Windows.
