Job Description
General Contractor company seeking qualified Superintendents to manage projects in the Mercer County area. The Superintendent is the company's on-site representative managing all construction activities which include quality control, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. Ideal candidate will be a team player with great attitude and will take great pride on the finish product.
The Site Superintendent's job duties will include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing all phases of construction project from initial planning to completion.
Running day to day operations on site, including upkeep and maintenance of short-term schedule.
Responsible for quality control and subcontractor coordination.
Scheduling and representing the company at municipal inspections; and daily communication with the Project Manager(s) and providing feedback of job site conditions and productivity.
Develop strong working relationships with sub-contractors.
Ensure project safety and OSHA guidelines are followed.
Job Requirements:
Experience managing commercial, institutional and/or residential projects
Proven ability to work independently, manage subcontractors and maintain schedules
Comfortable using technology, smart phones and computers
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
Must be a team player with positive attitude
Minimum 5 years experience
