Job Description

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a prominent employer! Our client, located in Goshen, IN., is looking to add 3 members to their team.

Landscaping/Clean Up Job Summary:

$17 per hour

1st shift: 7am -3:30pm

Monday thru Friday

Overtime as needed

Temporary 12+ week assignment

Working with a Crew to clean up the streets. Patches streets and seals cracks.

Cleans catch basins.

Clean equipment

Mows/trims grass

Shovel & Rake- Berm, asphalt, brush and leaves

Cleans shop and general area.

Performs basic needs, under permanent employee guidance, on assigned crewsLandscaping/Clean Up Minimum Physical and Mental Abilities:

Ability to utilize departmental equipment and tools including, crack/seal equipment, wood chipper, leaf vacuum, mower, patch wagon, pruners, shovels, rakes, weed trimmers, and other hand tools.

Ability to exert physical effort in moderate to heavy work involving lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and shoveling.Landscaping/Clean Up Communication:

Ability to comprehend and correctly use a variety of informational documents including citizen inquiry forms and other reports and records.

Ability to comprehend a variety of reference books and manuals.Ability to prepare work orders, time sheets, maintenance reports, other related reports.

Ability to accurately record and deliver information and meet deadlines.

Ability to perceive and discriminate colors, sounds, textures, odors, and shapes.

Ability to use independent judgment, common sense, and principles of rational systems in the performance of tasks.

Ability to work under stressful conditions.

Ability to maintain personal composure and tactfully handle difficult situations and interpret questions correctly.

Ability to advise and interpret the application of policies, procedures and standards to specific situations; ability to explain, demonstrate and clarify to others within well-established policies, procedures and standards.Ability to communicate effectively.

Environmental Adaptability:Ability to work effectively in a shop environment and outdoors being exposed to extreme weather conditions.

Ability to work in and close to public streets and take the necessary precautions to protect self and others from hazards, traffic, and other potentially dangerous situations.Qualifications:

Must be reliable. Company needs employees to come to work every day

No HS/GED required

Valid Driver's License, phone, and/or email: work boots and inclement weather gear

Must be able to work as a team or individually as needed

Must be able to work outside all day
