Beverage Innovation Project Manager

Position Summary: Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea is seeking a Beverage Innovation Project manager who will be responsible for leading the development and launch of innovative coffee, tea, coffee house ingredients and other beverage products from concept through commercialization. This role requires strong project management skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure timely delivery, and align products with the company's strategic goals. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for innovation and a deep understanding of the coffee/tea and beverage industry.
Salary, Benefits, and Advancement Opportunities: The Beverage Innovation Project Manager will start at a salary of $80,000-$90,000 based on experience, and is on a flexible working schedule to accommodate project deadlines and collaboration across different time zones. This role may require occasional travel to meet with stakeholders, suppliers, or attend industry events. Daily Responsibilities will Include:
Project Management
Lead and manage beverage innovation products, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, meeting all quality and compliance standards.
Innovation and Development
Identify opportunities for new beverage products and improvements to existing offerings based on market trends and consumer insights.
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to develop and refine product concepts, formulations, and packaging.
Conduct feasibility studies and pilot testing to validate product concepts and ensure readiness for commercialization.
Quality and Compliance
Ensure all beverage innovation projects comply with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, budgets, and reports.
Qualifications for Success:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
5 years of experience in project management preferred, ideally within the beverage industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering beverage innovation projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Lean).
PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. MS Project, JIRA, Asana) is a plus.
