As the firm is expanding, they are seeking a Customer Service Representative / Administrative Assistant who brings not only outstanding customer service skills but also prior experience in the insurance industry.
Position Overview:
As a CSR/Administrative Assistant, you'll be a key point of contact for our clients and an essential support to our agents. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique demands of insurance service and wants to build a long-term career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide prompt, friendly assistance to clients in person, over the phone, and via email
Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
Maintain and update client records, policy documentation, and databases accurately
Assist with data entry, scanning, filing, and general administrative tasks
Schedule appointments and follow up on client inquiries or documentation needs
Support agents in preparing insurance documents, processing policy changes, and managing renewals
Monitor office supply levels and help keep administrative systems organized
Take initiative in handling additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in an insurance agency or similar setting (required or strongly preferred)
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Professional, polished presentation and a client-first attitude
Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential client information with discretion
