Bonneville Builders has been in business since 1998 as a general contractor focused on the Salt Lake City and St. George markets. During that time, we have specialized in hospitality, multi-unit, industrial, office, retail, healthcare, and tenant improvements. Weve been recognized as one of Utahs fastest-growing companies three years in a row with an average growth of 30%, and were on track for 25% growth in 2025.
Because of this growth, were looking to add a new Project Manager to help drive and direct future projects. Our Project Managers oversee and manage all phases of the construction project, including the project team, subcontractors, materials, and equipment. They ultimately ensure that specifications are being followed and work is proceeding with quality, on schedule, and within budget.
Job Expectations:
Manage and direct multiple construction projects at any given time.
Coordination with the preconstruction team to finalize project budgets, estimates, bids, negotiations, reports, permits, buyout processes, and procurement.
Organizes and conducts pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
Imp lement safety standards and quality assurance controls on each project.
Tracks and identifies, and solves conflicts in construction progress or schedule
Reviews and ensures Request for Information (RFI) Log is current and follows up to ensure record drawings and as-builts are updated and maintained.
Coordinates and maintains relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors to open future opportunities and successfully complete project.
Participate and occasionally present in management, weekly project and safety meetings, performance evaluation meetings, and regular staff meetings.
Coordinate, document, and manage construction projects from subcontractor payments, SWPP plans, safety procedures, to final punch lists and final payment in a timely manner and according to project schedule.
Mentors and encourages subordinate growth and development, and builds the morale of all project team members through positive reinforcement, feedback, etc.
Works with the project team to establish goals and develop accountability.
Schedules, prepares, and conducts performance evaluations and reports of staff members.
Seeks input from staff on how to improve process, project, company, etc.
Financial management of a project including, risk exposure processes, properly coded purchases, subcontractor supplements, and change order processes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Has experience in managing a team of individuals and leading them to success.
Excellent oral and written communication skills to address a variety of audiences.
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, plans, construction documents, contract documents, and specifications
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Proactive and deadline-oriented.
Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
General knowledge of LEED principles.
Familiarity with a wide range of equipment and tools; proficiency in skilled construction, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft suite, Microsoft Project, BlueBeam, and can navigate and/or use CAD software.
Education / Experience:
Bachelors degree in construction management or related field
5+ years related experience on commercial projects
HUD project experience preferred but not required
