CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Truck Driver

Job Description

Safely operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations

Transport goods from one location to another over short or long distances

Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, securing loads as necessary

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and document any maintenance issues

Maintain accurate driving logs, including hours of service, vehicle inspections, and mileage

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using two-way radios and other devices

Follow routes and schedules provided by dispatch and adapt to changing conditions, such as weather or traffic congestion

Report any incidents or accidents to management immediately and assist in documenting and investigating them as required

Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and DOT regulations

Requirements:

Valid CDL Class A driver's license with a clean driving record

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDL Truck Driver or relevant role

Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and DOT physical

Knowledge of trucking regulations and safety standards

Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions

Excellent time management and organizational skills
