Position Description:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, retention, general company training and various other HR tasks for all employees located in Hawaii. The integral person will be the local Human Resources representative and will play a crucial role in ensuring our continued success.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruiting plans for all positions for our commercial and residential property management teams.
Effectively and efficiently recruit for each open position based on skills, experience and requirements for position. Positions include administrative, managerial, service, janitorial, and sales roles.
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees. Build network to identify passive candidates and qualified candidates in advance of need.
Advertise all open positions on job boards, including LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter and Indeed.
Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
Extend employment offers and complete background checks prior to onboarding
Effectively manage the onboarding experience, including employment paperwork, general training on systems and introduction to the Company.
Administrative duties and recordkeeping.
Qualifications:
5+ years in Human Resources, focus on recruiting and onboarding highly preferred.
Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Must have effective problem-solving skills and ability to adapt.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and high ethics
Effective and professional communication to all employees.
General knowledge of applicable Hawaii labor law.
This full-time, onsite position is based in Honolulu, HI but will report to our corporate office in Santa Monica, CA.Company Description
