CDL B Delivery Driver

Job Description

Fresh Fork Market is seeking a CDL B Delivery Driver looking for more than just a driving job. As a Delivery Driver for Fresh Fork, you are responsible for loading/unloading the delivery truck at our warehouse and driving it to the delivery location (within 25 miles of our warehouse and assisting the Greeter/Market Team on location to assist customers). Once at the location, you'll help unload the market display items (tables, products, tents) and prepare customer orders as called by the Greeter team. Most orders are 95% packed -- you will be responsible to add a select number and category of products to customer orders. Responsibilities/duties include:

Safely and efficiently transport our refrigerated box trucks to/from the warehouse to our pickup locations

Assist loading & unloading the trucks at our warehouse with a team of warehouse associates/drivers

Work on the back of the truck at our pickup locations to get the grocery packages from the truck to the customer

Ability to work on your feet for several hours, lift up to 50lbs and keep the truck organized

The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday and driving is a small portion of the job; it is just a means to get the truck to the setup location. Wednesday - Friday shifts are afternoons (roughly 12-8pm) and Saturday is day shift (7a - 4p).

Hours: 32 hours minimum per week, shifts Wednesday through Saturday

License: CDL Class B is required. Pay based on driving experience.

Trucks are new equipment, automatic transmission refrigerated box trucks ranging in size from 16 ft box to 24 ft box. CDL drivers able to drive manual transmission are also welcome for two of our older trucks.

Fresh Fork Market is a local foods delivery company. We source all our product for our subscription boxes from local farms within 100 miles of Cleveland. Our team is dedicated to sending our customers high quality, just harvested, fresh produce every week. Wednesday through Saturday's are our busiest days.
