We are Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI)—one of the nation’s top fertility care providers—and our brand-new Ambulatory Surgery Center in Chicago’s River North is open, thriving, and looking for Per Diem Sterile Processing Technicians to keep our surgical suites spotless, safe, and ready for every life-changing procedure.

About the Role:

As our Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the sterile integrity of our surgical operations. From instrument decontamination to setup and storage, your precision and attention to detail will help ensure patient safety and surgical excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing:

️ Cleaning, sterilizing, and inspecting surgical instruments and trays

️ Ensuring all equipment meets sterilization standards and protocols

️ Maintaining accurate logs and records for compliance

️ Assembling instrument sets and surgical packs

️ Supporting the OR team by ensuring everything is ready when they are

️ Monitoring equipment performance and reporting any issues

️ Upholding infection control and safety procedures with pride

What You Bring to the Team:

High school diploma or GED

Certification in Sterile Processing (CBSPD or CRCST preferred)

Prior experience in sterile processing or in an ambulatory surgery center

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and a collaborative mindset

A commitment to excellence in patient-centered care

The Details:

Per diem = flexible, part-time role

COVID-19 vaccination required (or approved exemption)

Background check, drug screen & reference check required
