Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Assistant at Perfume Distributors Inc. in New Hyde Park, NY. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as packing, inventory control, forklift operation, inventory management, and customer service.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Recruit and train shipping personnel

Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking and replenishment of stock

Negotiate transportation rates and services

Resolve any issues or discrepancies with the shipped orders promptly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction

Provide exceptional customer service to address inquiries and concerns regarding shipping

Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory levels
