Personal Care Assistant (PCA) For Employment

Job Description

IMMEDIATE POSITION: Frankfort, IN USA

MONDAY TO FRIDAY - Day shifts available

CNA or HHA

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Provide client care according to approved Service Plan

Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

Comply with all documentation and record keeping requirements

Follow principles of infection control and Universal Precautions

Identifies and participates in performance improvement activities

Light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry

Provide transport to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping

Assist in providing a safe environment and promote quality patient care

Adherence to established policies, procedures and standards

Adherence to client’s rights including the right to privacy and dignity

Respond rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation

Use equipment properly and in a safe manner

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Valid driver’s license, car insurance and reliable transportation preferred

Must be able to pass a background test and drug screen upon hire

Proof of eligibility to work in the US
