Console Installation Specialist

Job Description

The Console Installation Specialist will join our Console Solutions Team at Constant Technologies, Inc. and is responsible for ensuring projects are completed within the customer's expectations and deadlines. The Console Installation Specialist is responsible for the quality and timeliness of the work performed on the job. The lead position is required to effectively and efficiently manage and oversee all resources, including other installers. assigned to a job/project and is accountable for the success and outcome of his or her actions.

Console Installation Specialist Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

● Requires 70% travel – Constant Technologies, Inc. is a global provider and provides installation and service support all over the world! We offer Travel expenses and Per Diem reimbursement for all out-of-town travel.

● Installation of custom workstation consoles and commercial office furnishings and acting as point of contact for projects as assigned to represent the best qualities of the company.

● Layout and placement of consoles based on overall floor plan designs.

● Read and interpret floor plan layouts from CAD drawings.

● Work efficiently with other contractors on-site to coordinate power and data integration into furniture, floor cutouts, and other common tasks to keep the project moving forward.

● Work independently and problem-solve on-site issues with minimal direct supervision.

● Coordinate all deliveries with client and logistics companies to ensure successful delivery to site.

● Provide coaching and supervision to installation personnel; help establish standard operating procedures and ensure accountability for the team; provide service analysis and work planning capabilities; define and monitor standards and quality of performance within team and project scope.

● Maintain cleanliness and safety at all times on work sites.

● Maintain and organize in-shop inventory and upcoming project materials. Prep consoles for installation, shipping, and transport. Loading and unloading of all furnishings.

● Communicate with client to address any questions during installation and receive sign-off on completed console installations.

Console Installation Specialist Requirements:

● High school diploma or GED required. Education in an electronics or related field is a bonus.

● Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 75 pounds) and work within varied conditions some of which may be small or confined.

● High-level finish carpentry skills and ability to competently use power and hand tools safely. Attention to detail and customer satisfaction is a must.

● Flexibility to travel or work overtime as necessary.

● Ability to read blueprints, and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.

● Excellent communication and leadership skills.

● Must be able to pass a post-offer background check.
