Toddler Teacher Assistant

Job Description

Must be Currently Enrolled in the Oregon Criminal History Registry for Child Care Providers.

Must have Current CPR And First Aid

Must Have Current Food Handlers Card

Must have 2 plus years of experience working with infant and toddler Age Children in a Certified Home or Child Care Center

Must have a Step 4 minimum in Oregon On Line (ORO)

Able to assist the Lead teacher:

With Curriculum High Scope

Supervision

Social Emotional training and support

Feeding

Changing

Playing with children

Keeping classroom neat and clean

Taking over when lead teacher is sick or on vacation

Able to work alone and in a group

Able to

Get along with other teachers and management

Communicate with parents

Help with Curriculum High Scope

Help with Parent Teacher Conferences

Write Daily Posts (with Training)

Write Observations and Assessments (with training)

Truly enjoys working with and being around children.

Wants a long term career.
