This is an onsite position that requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week in Pontiac, Michigan.

Position Summary

Responsibilities

Oversee the full project lifecycle for machine installation projects, ensuring all project deliverables align with client requirements and company standards.

Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration across the project team.

Collaborate closely with superintendents, engineers, and technical teams to ensure seamless coordination of installation activities.

Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Monitor progress, identify potential issues or risk, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and industry regulations throughout the project.

Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clear expectations and successful outcomes.

Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects remain within financial parameters.

Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Ensures timely project delivery by creating, tracking, and adjusting schedules while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder communication.

Review and approve project documentation, including contracts, progress reports, and invoices.

Lead post-installation activities, ensuring the smooth transition to operational status and client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project management, specifically in machine installation, automotive construction, or related fields.

B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.

PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.

Flexibility to travel to project sites preferred.

Proven ability to manage large-scale projects, from planning through completion, while maintaining budget and timeline control.

Strong knowledge of safety standards, industry regulations, and quality assurance in industrial settings.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, internal teams, and external vendors.

Solid understanding of project management tools and software including Microsoft Project, P6, ect.

Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Familiarity with machinery installation procedures and technical specifications
