Warehouser and delivery driver

Job Description

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced warehouser and delivery driver to join our team. This person will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from the warehouse to designated locations, requiring the individual to not only drive safe but, also actively participate in warehouse tasks like picking, packing and loading merchandise on the vehicle, ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining proper inventory management within the warehouse. You will accurately keep records of all inventories, both received and delivered, and observe safe workplace rules and guidelines when unloading and transporting cargo. This is a physically demanding position, meaning our ideal candidate can lift and move heavy items, in addition to possessing a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Process inventory for delivery

Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location

Package items and label correctly

Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors

Stack and organize large bulk items

Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location

Operate warehouse forklift to move or store inventory

Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles

Deliver sold inventory to customers

Prepare inventory for audits

Valid driver's license

Able to pass drug test/background check

Ship and receive UPS orders accurately

Ensure that all goods and materials are properly secured during transport

Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and report any problems to the supervisorCompany Description
