Job Description
Assist dentist with procedures: fillings, crowns, extractions, implants, etc.
Take digital x-rays
Be able to chart patients treatment and dental history
Scan digital impressions
Remove temporary crowns, try on permanent crowns for radiographing
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
Help maintain a clean, safe work environment by sterilizing equipment and cleaning rooms
Help with weekly operatory cleaning duties
Help maintain function of office equipment
Help patients feel comfortable and maintain accurate patient records using our CURVE dental software (training provided)
Provide follow up care instructions for patients
Schedule follow up treatment if necessary

Opportunity to advance by on the job training to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred by not required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficiency in CURVE software preferred, but not required (training provided)
Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
Dental Radiology (required)
Dental Assistant Experience
Orthodontic Assisting Experience (preferred by not required)
HOURS: Monday 8am to 5pm, Tuesday 8am - 6pm, Wednesday 8am to 5pm, Thursday 8am to 5pm, 2 Fridays a month 8am to 2pm
