Kick start your career in the sign industry! In this hands on role you’ll learn to run our wide format printers and help assemble finished signage. We’ll teach you everything you need to know—from loading media and setting up print jobs to mounting graphics, installing hardware, and packaging completed signs. If you’re mechanically inclined, detail oriented, and ready to grow with a fast moving shop, we’d love to meet you.

Core Responsibilities:

Digital Printing

• Load rolls/sheets, perform basic nozzle checks, and run jobs on latex or UV printers under guidance.

• Use RIP software (SAi Flexi) to open files, choose presets, and queue jobs.

• Monitor prints for color shifts or head strikes and flag issues to lead operator.

Sign Assembly

• Apply laminate, trim excess material, weed vinyl, and apply transfer tape.

• Mount prints to substrates (ACM, acrylic, PVC) using rollers or hand tools.

• Install studs, standoffs, or frames; prep signs for installation teams.

• Package and label finished products for delivery.

Shop Support

• Keep ink, media, and hardware stocked and organized.

• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all PPE guidelines.

• Assist with routine printer cleaning and preventative maintenance.

Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or GED. Technical school coursework in graphics, printing, or trades is a plus—but not required.

Experience: No prior print shop experience needed. Any background in woodworking, fabrication, screen printing, or graphics is helpful. We provide full training.

Technical & Physical Skills

• Comfort with basic hand tools (utility knife, drill/driver, tape measure).

• Good color perception and attention to small details.

• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

• Team player who communicates clearly and asks questions.
