Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders and Servers to join our team. This will be a part-time position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, ensuring the bar area is clean and organized, and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. As a part-time bartender, your schedule and hours will vary and be based on business demand. Shifts may start as early as 1pm and end as late as 1am.

Duties

Bartender - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.

Bartender - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.

Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.

Bartender - Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible serving practices.

Handle cash, card, and room charge transactions accurately using POS system.

Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and organizing the liquor room

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, including banquets or special events.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.

Skills

Proven experience as a bartender or server in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in hotels

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.

Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.

Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.

Experience in banquet settings is a plus.

Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change accurately.

Proficiency with TOAST POS systems for processing orders and payments.

A passion for mixology with an eagerness to learn new techniques and recipes.

Must be 21+ years of age

Must have a valid San Bernardino County Food Handler card or the willing ability to obtain one within 7 days of hire
