Quality Technician: 3 - 6 month Contract

Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Quality Technician for a 3 - 6 month contract position at our West Metro Corporate Headquarters.

This position will offer a Hybrid work schedule and has a targeted pay rate in the $20 - $24.50/hr. range. The pay is weekly.

Overview:

The purpose of this role is to ensure that received and assembled components conform to design standards. This position ensures high quality components and equipment for internal and external customers.

Duties include:

· Inspection activities during receiving and assembly.

· Read and interpret design, manufacturing and assembly documentation.

· Accept or reject components based on inspection results

· Work with suppliers, engineering, field service, manufacturing and sourcing in support of quality improvements

Requirements:

Education: Highschool Diploma/Equivalent

Experience: 1+ Years Quality inspection experience; Reading and interpreting prints, using measurement equipment in a heavy equipment manufacturing environment. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as CMM, calipers, micrometers, etc. Using MRP systems; Bills of material; Non-conformance systems

Licenses/Certifications: Ability to obtain certified Quality Technician through ASQ

Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test.
