Eminence Home Care is hiring experienced heroes- otherwise known as - Direct Support Professionals and PCAs to join our team part-time/per diem!

Are you a PCA or DSP that has a passion for caring for adults with disabilities? Do you have experience working with adults of all ages who have physical limitations and need 1:1 personal assistance to maintain their independence? Join the Eminence Home Care team and bring your superpowers with you!

We are looking for DSP/PCAs who have worked in a home setting performing household tasks, and personal hygiene support. Other requirements include:

A valid drivers license or reliable transportation for any shift

Ability to work throughout Greater Hartford County

Day or evening shift availability, with part time to full time opportunities

CNAs encouraged to apply!

Experience with DME such as wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, trapeze, transfer boards/gait belts

Personal care experience, for mobile and bedbound clients

1-2 years experience working with disabled populations who may have physical limitations, cognitive impairments, paralysis, hearing impairments or use other communication methods if non verbal.

What you’ll be doing:

Our direct support professionals care for clients by providing household support such as cleaning, meal preparation, medication reminders, companionship, activity-based stimulation, and support with personal hygiene and ADL needs.
