Shop Maintenance

The shop position at Griffin Pavement Striping plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and readiness of our equipment, vehicles and supplies. This position supports field crews by ensuring all tools and materials are prepped, repaired, and organized. Ideal candidates will be dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of working both independently and as a part of a team. Pay range will be commensurate with knowledge/skills/abilities but should fall in the range of $16-$18 per hour.

· Keep shop grounds and buildings clean and organized by picking up trash, returning tools and materials to their proper place, and addressing messes promptly (e.g., spilled materials, overflowing trash cans, paint buckets or items out of place.

· Maintain exterior grounds by regularly mowing and trimming grass, and keeping bushes and flower beds neat, clean, and well-groomed.

· Regularly inspect the building and surrounding areas for wear, damage, or defects – such as peeling signage, broken lights, loose downspouts, leaky sinks, etc.

· Keep the fuel island clean and free of any safety hazards.

· Load and unload materials and supplies for job readiness

· Going on supply trips as needed

· Support field crews with equipment delivery and retrieval as needed

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED preferred

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

· Ability to lift 50+lbs and work in indoor/outdoor conditions

· Flexible schedule

· Available to work overtime as needed
