Position Overview:
A full-time opportunity is available for a qualified Project Manager with experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant construction. This role supports both traditional construction and design/build teams in delivering complex infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is a driven, detail-oriented professional seeking long-term career growth in the water/wastewater industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a strong understanding of field operations in water/wastewater treatment construction.
Manage and maintain all contract documents, including plans, specifications, subcontracts, purchase orders, contact lists, change orders, and closeout packages.
Maintain and update project documentation such as RFIs, project logs, and tracking reports.
Update internal cost reports and track labor productivity and material costs.
Develop, manage, and expedite equipment and material delivery schedules; assist in procurement efforts.
Utilize CPM scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera) to develop and update project schedules.
Collaborate with superintendents and team members to ensure subcontractor and vendor compliance.
Coordinate and meet with subcontractors and vendors on technical matters.
Support the superintendent in managing daily operations and maintaining project efficiency.
Take leadership in upholding and promoting a culture of safety; proactively work to identify and eliminate site hazards.
Perform additional project management duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater treatment plant construction.
Proficient in MS Office Suite.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in blueprint reading and knowledgeable in construction materials and methods.
Able to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Professional demeanor and effective interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and construction trades.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
Familiarity with project management software such as ProCore, Timberline, MS Project, SureTrack, or Primavera.
Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Acrobat.
Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
