This position will support Preventative Maintenance Medical (PMM) — subsidiary of Prescott's, Inc.
We are looking for a driven Field Service and Sales Specialist to perform on-site maintenance and repairs for medical and laboratory equipment in Columbus, Ohio, and its surrounding areas.
As a Field Service and Sales Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team, providing technical support and outstanding service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and repairing equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. In addition, you will be responsible for establishing new relationships with customers, while maintaining the existing book of business. Through your expertise and commitment to exceptional customer service, you will help drive the success and growth of our business.
Responsibilities
Installation, maintenance, and repair of Medical and Laboratory Sterilization and Disinfection equipment at customer locations.
Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
Identify and visit new customers to create opportunities for growth within our platform
Perform routine maintenance and inspections per OEM specifications.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
Ensure quality standards are met by conducting rigorous testing and calibration of equipment.
Provide technical support to customers, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records and documentation; manage all reporting about the health of customer's accounts
Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Occasional travel to customer sites for additional training, support, or installations.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 0-2+ years of experience in field service or a similar role.
Strong technical and troubleshooting skills in mechanical systems.
Experience with medical equipment preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.
Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and schedules.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Familiar with using diagnostic tools and software.
Willingness and ability to travel
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 40 pounds).
