Location: Customer is in DC with most work performed Remote; however, candidates MUST reside in DMV for consideration
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Data Analyst for our government customer. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in delivering high-impact data solutions,, and ensuring data integrity through rigorous quality control processes. This role requires a detail-oriented, technically proficient analyst with exceptional problem-solving skills. Applicants must have an active or prior security clearance for consideration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Design, develop, and deliver advanced SQL reports and dashboards tailored to complex operational requirements.
Conduct daily, monthly, and yearly data validation and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and reliability.
Extract, transform, and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Qlik, Business Objects, and Excel.
Create predictive models and compelling visual analytics using Power BI, R, and Excel to inform operational planning and strategic decision-making.
Work collaboratively with project managers and stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver results on time.
Translate complex business and operational requirements into efficient and scalable reporting solutions.
Mentor junior analysts, sharing domain knowledge and technical expertise to enhance team performance.
Provide timely and high-quality responses to data requests from senior leadership.
Participate in meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and improve reporting standards.
Qualifications- Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience in data analysis, SQL reporting, and program support.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive experience with SQL, data extraction, data modeling, and reporting tools.
Strong command of one or more of the following: SQL, Business Objects,, Power BI, and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver critical data projects under tight deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on data quality and integrity.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interpret and clarify business needs.
Experience with data reconstruction and imputation techniques to overcome system limitations.
REQUIRED - Active or prior security clearance, preferably with DHS (CBP BI) or DoD.
