Job Title: HR Generalist

Must live in Dallas / Fort Worth

Remote role but occasional meetings in the Dallas office with leadership

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team as an individual contributor. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving HR initiatives across various departments, developing and tracking KPIs, overseeing employee relations, conducting performance and annual reviews, managing payroll, and performing a variety of administrative HR functions. The HR Generalist will work closely with department managers to ensure smooth operations and foster a positive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

KPI Development & Monitoring:

Collaborate with department heads to create, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with company objectives.

Analyze departmental performance data and provide recommendations for improvement.

Employee Relations:

Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related concerns, issues, and policies.

Mediate conflict resolution and facilitate open communication between employees and management.

Ensure a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Performance & Annual Reviews:

Coordinate the performance review process for all employees, ensuring timely and consistent feedback.

Work with managers to set clear expectations for performance and ensure employees are evaluated fairly.

Assist in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans when necessary.

Payroll Administration:

Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution.

Ensure compliance with tax laws and labor regulations related to employee compensation.

Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

HR Administration:

Manage employee records, including onboarding, offboarding, and updating personal information.

Assist with benefits administration and ensure employees are aware of available programs.

Handle compliance with labor laws and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and regulatory changes.

Support recruitment efforts by assisting with job postings, interviews, and onboarding new hires.

Other Duties:

Assist with the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

Provide support during organizational changes or restructures as needed.

Conduct HR-related audits and assist in compliance reporting.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR generalist role, preferably in a mid-size to large company.

Strong understanding of HR functions, including employee relations, payroll, performance management, and KPI development.

Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and discretion.

Knowledge of labor laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).
