Accounts Payable Coordinator
Reports to: Controller, Accounts Payable Manager
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week, with some flexibility on specific days/hours
Job Location: 3500 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, OH 43207. This position is primarily in person with remote capabilities.
This position is eligible for Company benefits.
General Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will provide support to the Finance Team by assisting the Accounts Payable Manager. This person should demonstrate Integrity, Gratitude, Excellence, and Leadership.
Responsibilities:
Assists Accounts Payable Manager with:
Processing incoming Accounts Payable mail and email
Obtaining proper invoice approvals
Processing weekly check runs
Reconciling vendor statements
Handling Vendor Inquiries
Ensuring vendor files and tax documents are current
Processing Truck Tickets
Maintaining and regularly updating department SOPs
Maintains Supplier and Subcontractor Lien Waivers
Collects and files Subcontractor I-29s
Knows and adheres to all Company policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Experience with Accounts Payable functions required
Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred
Familiarity with Ohio Sales & Use Tax laws, and the Construction Industry preferred
Must be comfortable working in a paperless environment and be proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Must be trustworthy and comfortable working with confidential information within a privately held company
Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while processing large amounts of data
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally, ability to form effective working relationships with others
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. (George J. Igel & Co., Inc. is a BWC Drug-Free Workplace and tests for marijuana)
Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire
Must have access to reliable transportation
