Salary: $75,000 base annually

The Role

The role of Production Team Lead is responsible for the Safety, Quality and Productivity of the Production Team and ensuring that production activities are carried out in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.

Lead with Safety

Execute jobs assigned ensuring both Quality and Timely completion

Ability to solve problems and come up with system improvements

Will provide team direction regarding project planning, managing the job process, and establishing critical project objectives

Job is approximately 20% leading/processes and 80% hands on the job

Production focus on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency

Train production team to be exceptional performers

Ensure all equipment and jobs in progress are accounted for in the system and have work order details physically attached to the jobs

Other tasks and duties based upon business needs

Required Skills/Qualifications

2-4 years experience in a production environment, preferably in assembly and/or fabrication of industrial metal components.

Ability to operate a forklift

Ability to interpret a drawing / print

Ability to manage workflows by way of automated systems

Experience leading in a metric driven environment

Highschool Diploma / GED

High level of organization and an ability to work independently

Must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment.

M-F between the hours of 7am-5pm

Up to 10% travel to customer sites in North America
