Now Hiring: Machine Operator – Packaging & Production St. George, UT

Nexeo HR is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to support filling and packaging operations at a fast-paced production facility in St. George, UT. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, packaging, or machine operation experience who is ready to grow in a hands-on role with room for advancement.

Responsibilities

•Set up, calibrate, and operate automated packaging and filling machines for daily production.

•Monitor and run two machines during the shift, ensuring maximum efficiency and minimal downtime.

•Perform routine maintenance including replacing rubber, Teflon, and seal tape.

•Conduct film changes and load rolls (up to 40 lbs) for packaging runs.

•Troubleshoot machine jams and adjust feed rolls, seals, and die cuts as needed.

•Maintain consistent product quality by checking weights and adjusting equipment accordingly.

•Accurately complete daily production reports and documentation.

•Assist with box assembly, palletizing, and labeling to support outbound shipments.

•Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

•1+ year of machine operation, warehouse operations, or production experience preferred (filling/packaging equipment a plus).

•Basic understanding of GMP, quality control, and production line safety procedures.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and settings.

•Comfortable using hand tools for minor equipment adjustments and part changes.

•Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods (standing, lifting, pulling).

•English communication skills required to follow instructions and communicate with team members.

•Team-player mentality and willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned.

Pay

$16.50 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday - Friday
