Event Delivery & Setup Crew Member

Job Description

Kate Ryan Event Rentals specializes in premium event experiences. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking, and friendly individuals to join our Delivery & Setup Crew and help bring our events to life.

About the Role:

As a key member of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for delivering rental items, inspecting product quality, setting up and breaking down event spaces, and providing top-notch service to our clients.

What You'll Do:

Deliver and set up event rental items at venues across the region

Inspect product quality before and after each delivery

Provide friendly, professional service during setup and strike

Handle delivery inventory with care and accuracy

Work primarily nights and weekends, with 2–4 split shifts per week

What We’re Looking For:

A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Experience driving a 26-foot box truck

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Hospitality or event industry experience (preferred)

Reliable transportation to our warehouse near downtown Tampa

Commitment to safety and professionalism

Must pass a background check and drug screening

Schedule & Compensation:

Starting at $20/hour (with a performance review after training)

Shifts typically range from 3–8 hours, occasionally up to 12 hours

Most work occurs nights and weekends

Weekly hours range from 32 to 40+ depending on the season
