Direct Support Professional DSP

Job Description

We are seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in the Buckeye Lake, Ohio area. Someone that will care for our clients and encourage them to live independent, productive lives. The direct support professional will follow guidelines and specific instructions pertaining to individual client's, support, treatments, and care.

Job Description:

Be patient, reliable, and professional

Protect and honor the rights of people with disabilities

Ensure a safe and clean home for people served

Develop a positive rapport while serving as a role model to create a safe and caring environment

Teach skills to individuals served that increase independence such as eating, cooking and bathing

Document data displaying the individual served goals and progression

Assist in finding and participating in meaningful community activities

Work independent or with co-workers to enhance the growth of individuals served

Qualifications:

High school diploma

Ability to pass and maintain State of Ohio DODD training

Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult

Valid Ohio Driver's License (No more than five points on driving record)

Reliable transportation

Ability to pass a background check with the requirements of the State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disability.Company Description
