Job Description

Premier Entertainment, Austin's top-rated event DJ company, is seeking dynamic individuals, with or without prior DJ or MC experience, to join our team. We perform at over 400 weddings and corporate events annually.

Ideal candidates must exhibit excellent and prompt communication skills and be willing to learn, while providing outstanding customer service. Punctuality and reliable transportation are essential requirements.

All candidates, regardless of experience, will undergo several weeks of training in music knowledge, public speaking, AV connectivity, and DJ mixing techniques. Individuals with prior DJ experience seeking immediate work need not apply. It is imperative that all entertainers have a comprehensive understanding of the culture and passion of Premier Entertainment before being assigned solo work.

Compensation varies based on event type and DJ gear. After successful completion of training, DJs usually earn between $300 and $950, in addition to tips from satisfied clients. Availability to work on Saturdays, as well as some Fridays and Sundays, is required.
