Job Summary:
As a CSR/Dispatcher, you’ll be the heartbeat of our operations—serving as the key link between our clients, drivers, and office staff. You'll handle incoming calls, schedule rides, coordinate with drivers, and help resolve issues in real time. This position requires a calm, confident communicator who can think quickly, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly—even when it gets hectic.
Responsibilities:
Answer and handle high volumes of incoming calls with professionalism and empathy
Schedule, modify, and cancel rides using scheduling software
Dispatch trips to drivers and monitor their progress throughout the day
Communicate effectively with clients, caregivers, and facilities regarding ride status
Address and resolve scheduling issues or delays promptly
Maintain accurate data entry and trip records
Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate patience, especially with elderly or medically vulnerable clients
Collaborate with office and field staff to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in dispatching, customer service, or transportation scheduling preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
High level of patience, empathy, and professionalism
Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems
Availability for rotating shifts, including occasional weekends if needed
Familiarity with Cape Cod geography is a plus
