Job Title: Certified Skid Steer Operator – 3 Needed!

Location: OSU Campus, Columbus, OH

Job Type: Full-Time (Temporary – 3 Months, with Potential for Continued Work)

Pay Rate: Prevailing Wage – $45.84 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts (50 hours/week)

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

Operate skid steer machinery safely and effectively on an active construction site.

Perform site grading, trench backfilling, material transport, and debris removal.

Utilize attachments including buckets, forks, and augers as required.

Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.

Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area around machinery.

Requirements:

Valid Skid Steer Operator Certification (required).

OSHA 10 certification (required).

Minimum 2 years of experience operating skid steer equipment in a construction environment.

Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Reliable transportation to and from job site.

Additional Details:

Wage: $45.84/hour (Prevailing Wage)

Schedule: 10-hour days, Monday through Friday

Project Duration: Approximately 3 months
