Security Superintendent

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Security Superintendent with 5+ years of experience for a contract to hire opportunity in the greater New Albany, OH area. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as this is an immediate opportunity.

Security Superintendent Duties:

Coach, mentor and train field employees and provide ongoing support and direction.

Performance management including determining hiring needs, performance evaluations, etc.

Manage electronic security installation projects ranging from $300,000-$1M.

Reporting on job progress.

Partner with Project Manager and Project Engineers to create and monitor upcoming tasks.

Be the subject matter expert for all things Low Voltage.

Oversee project plans and project requirements. Review project/job packages to ensure accuracy.

Project scheduling with the customer.

Deliver all project deliverables.

Provide client training/walk throughs.

Manage change orders.

Manage job closeout process.

Ensure the proper billing requirements are met and monitor all costs associated with the project.

Ensure all safety requirements are being met on the job site.

Security Superintendent Requirements:

At least five years of supervisory experience within the Low Voltage Industry. 10+ years preferred.

Strong understanding of construction techniques and procedures.

At least seven years of progressive experience in the Electronic Security Industry.

Advanced knowledge of Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Detection Systems.

Experience with head end programming and testing of Access Control and CCTV/Video Management systems.

Excellent computer skills including: Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc.

OSHA training (OSHA 10 and/or 30).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure strong communications with clients, laborers, suppliers, internal stakeholders, etc.
