As a Life Coach, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals aged 8 to 22 who are justice involved, at risk, or in need of developing life skills, communication skills, and peer support. With a specific focus on working with the Medicaid and OhioRISE population, your expertise and impact will be instrumental in helping our clients overcome obstacles and unlock their true potential.

Responsibilities:

Engage with clients in both individual and group settings, meeting them in the community and our office, fostering a safe and comfortable environment for their growth and development.

Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that address their individual needs and goals, emphasizing the development of life skills, effective communication, and peer support.

Utilize evidence-based approaches, alongside your own expertise and creativity, to guide clients towards building resilience, self-confidence, and empowerment.

Report directly to the Clinical Director, allowing for seamless coordination and collaboration with the broader therapeutic team.

Engage in regular supervision to ensure professional growth and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

Possess a billable license such as QMHS, CDCA, SW-A, SW-T, CA, Case Manager, Behavior Technician, Peer Specialist, etc.

Experience and/or a deep understanding of working with Medicaid and OhioRISE population, with knowledge of the unique challenges and needs they may face.

Passion for and experience working with individuals aged 8 to 22 who are justice involved, at risk, or in need of life skills, communication skills, and peer support.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate trust, empathy, and rapport with clients and their families.

Ability to work independently, demonstrating professionalism and an inherent respect for client confidentiality.

Willingness to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.
